June 2021 – June is Seniors Month,  a good time to share resources available for those needing help with aging parents, spouses, caregivers and families. Senior have faced challenging times and increased isolation due to the pandemic, and it may take a bit longer before life returns to normal. This is an opportune time to generate awareness of the health, and social issues that seniors face, including
-The many tax issues that may arise when family members provide care to a loved-one with a long-term medical issue and/or disability.
-The potentially high costs of caring for a mentally or physically disabled loved one
-The economic costs of taking time off work or away from your business
-The lack of knowledge when it comes to obtaining financial assistance through the tax system and insurance as well as strategies to tap personal savings
